As Catering Manager, you will be responsible for developing market segments, soliciting new customer relationships, and negotiating business through proposals and contracts to close deals.

What will I be doing?

In this role, you will:

  1. Develop market segments, including soliciting new customer relationships and negotiating business through proposals and contracts.
  2. Create creative menus and event designs to maximize revenue and enhance guest experience.
  3. Maintain relationships with corporate and social accounts.
  4. Foster internal customer relationships to ensure high-quality service throughout all event phases.
  5. Coordinate event logistics with relevant departments and team members.
  6. Serve as the primary contact, ensuring a positive experience for clients.

Essential functions include:

  1. Organizing, planning, and prioritizing duties with clear goals.
  2. Communicating promptly with internal and external clients via various channels.
  3. Building and maintaining client relationships to meet expectations.
  4. Demonstrating knowledge of systems, products, and processes.
  5. Handling conflicts, complaints, and disputes effectively.
  6. Selling and influencing clients and stakeholders.
  7. Making informed decisions and solving problems efficiently.
  8. Ensuring high-quality service through communication, guidance, and coaching.
  9. Seeking new business opportunities in weddings, galas, social, and corporate events.
