Job Responsibilities

The Catering Services Manager is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the location. This role involves leading the catering team to successfully execute events and catering requests in accordance with customer expectations and service standards.

Job Description

  1. Develop and implement catering solutions to meet customer needs.
  2. Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and customers.
  3. Consistently ensure quality in planning and executing events.
  4. Coordinate the delivery of prepared food and setup of events based on banquet event orders.
  5. Assist clients in planning special events and provide creative solutions to their needs.
  6. Train and lead catering staff to uphold catering and event standards, ensuring quality in the final presentation.
  7. Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure all requests are fulfilled prior to events.
  8. Meet food and labor cost targets.
  9. Manage the execution of catering events of various sizes and scopes, including staffing and management.
  10. Accurately report all catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables.
  11. Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members.
  12. Ensure compliance with all food safety, occupational, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in events, hospitality, and catering preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Availability to work during event-based hours.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Completion of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
