SunStream Hotels & Resorts seeks a Catering Sales Manager for the DiamondHead Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach. This role focuses on generating catering and event revenue through proactive sales, client relationships, and seamless event execution.

You will partner with hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences, manage proposals and BEOs, and ensure compliance with health regulations, while developing staff and overseeing event logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in catering sales, hotel sales, event planning, hospitality sales, or a related customer-facing sales role.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Food Handlers Certificate.

Job Overview

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for generating catering and event revenue through proactive sales efforts, cultivating client relationships, and coordinating all aspects of events from initial inquiry through successful execution. The position serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and planning while partnering with hotel operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role is also responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations of FL state, maintaining a current state food handlers management certificate.

Responsibilities

• Generate catering and event sales through prospecting, networking, referrals, and responding to inquiries.

• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with employees at all levels of SunStream Hotels & Resorts, LLC.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk to hear and taste or smell.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the hotel/resort property 75% of the assigned shift.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 25% of the assigned shift.
• Maintain physical stamina and a proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
