Job summary

We are looking to add an experienced Catering Line cook to work with a highly motivated kitchen staff at Macquarie in New York, NY for our Constellation division. You will prep, cook, and serve for catering and events in a fast-paced environment.

Must have at least one year of culinary experience in high-volume scratch cooking, strong knowledge of culinary methods, and excellent attention to detail. Customer service is required; Monday-Thursday shifts (4-10 hours) with full-time status.

As a Catering Line cook for Constellation, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, efficient environment and cook delicious meals. This position will help prep, cook, and serve (when required) for Catering and Events.

This position is a Monday-Thursday Position (4-10 hour shifts). The position is a full-time position. You will report and work closely with the Catering Sous Chef and Executive Chef. What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools as well as identify and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
