Job summary

Panera Bread in California is hiring a Catering Lead to ensure timely, accurate delivery of all catered orders while delivering great guest service. In this fast-paced role you will own the catering operations, take and prepare orders, and use your sales skills to generate new business for catering.

This first-shift position runs Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays; hours are typically early morning to mid-afternoon.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail sales preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Own the success of the catering operations.
• Take, place and prepare catering orders and teach others to do so effectively.
• Maintain accurate guest database, collect payments and follow up with catering guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Keep work area neat and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Interact positively with all team members, managers and guests.
