Job summary

Panera is seeking a Catering Lead in Bloomingdale, IL to manage catering orders, deliver to events, and maintain health and safety standards. You will engage guests with friendly service and proactive follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires a self-starter with strong organizational skills, a current food safety understanding, and reliable vehicle for deliveries, with weekend/evening shifts common.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Food Handler's Card or basic food safety training
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Self-starter with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Must have own vehicle for delivering orders and valid driving record
• Ability to lift/push/pull 25–50 pounds
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 3 hours

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce catering orders for guests
• Deliver orders to guests' events and ensure timely service
• Provide warm, friendly service and proactive follow-ups
• Adhere to health and food safety standards
• Maintain Panera's food quality standards
• Promote Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events
• Support Managers and Team Members as needed
• Contribute to a culture of warmth, belonging, growth and trust
