Role Description: Catering Lead

As a Catering Lead, you will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure our guests receive great food and service. Your responsibilities include preparing and delivering all catered orders accurately and on time. You will also leverage your marketing and sales skills to generate new catering business for Panera Bread.

Schedule

This is a first shift position – typically Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays). Hours are generally early morning to mid-afternoon. You can earn GREAT TIPS!

Responsibilities

• Own the success of catering operations
• Take, place, and prepare catering orders; teach others to do so effectively
• Maintain an accurate and detailed guest database, collect payments, and follow up to ensure satisfaction
• Keep work area neat and clean while following all safety and sanitation procedures
• Interact positively with team members, managers, and guests consistently

Qualifications

• Valid driver license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation for local deliveries
• Proof of insurance
• Excellent customer service skills – polite, courteous, respectful, and professional appearance
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Effective communication skills with guests and teammates
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with early start times
• Over 18 years old
• Food service or retail sales experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods, with or without accommodations
