They are dedicated to the client experience, thoughtful leadership, and overall Catering kitchen performance from both a guest and efficiency perspective. The Catering General Manager oversees all aspects of the Catering kitchen, working side by side with team members to lead and inspire them to exceed client expectations by providing authentic, warm, and welcoming service while maintaining Tatte's standards.

Summary Of Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Owns the business including P&L responsibility.
  • Manages production and service according to standards.
  • Models and instills authentic, warm client service in team members.
  • Handles administrative tasks: scheduling, inventory, purchasing, financials, hiring.
  • Collaborates with Catering Sales to develop client relationships and grow business.
  • Assists in developing Catering Kitchen Processes and SOPs.
  • Ensures team follows recipes, portioning, presentation, and utilizes production worksheets.
  • Maintains inventory within guidelines.
  • Trains team in food prep, safety, sanitation, and equipment operation.
  • Develops managers and staff through feedback and performance reviews.
  • Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Follows safety and sanitation policies.
  • Participates in meetings and staff development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions / Essential Functions

  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Ability to work long shifts, stand, walk, squat.
  • Lifts up to 50 pounds.

Position Requirements

  • Passion for culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of systems and processes for execution.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented.
  • Able to multitask.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

  • Hospitality degree or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with relevant systems (UltiPro, Toast, CrunchTime, Teamworks).
  • ServSafe, Allergens, ChokeSaver certifications preferred.
