Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver and maintains cleanliness of work areas.
• Maintains safe and sanitary kitchen conditions and follows safety standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and floors clean to meet sanitation guidelines.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas as needed.
• Cleans surfaces, trays and equipment after use.
