Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 - Catering for Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. This role will manage the campus-wide culinary catering program, delivering quality food service and nutrition solutions to students and staff.

You will lead a team to uphold Sodexo standards, oversee purchasing, inventory, menu development, and food safety while driving culinary innovation and guest satisfaction on campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3 years minimum management experience.
• 3 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, catering, institutional services, etc.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and production forecasting.
• Perform wine pairing with menu items.
• Ensure Sodexo culinary standards, recipe compliance and food quality.
• Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
• Possess working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.
