Job summary

Eurest at ViaSat in Carlsbad, CA is hiring for a full-time Catering Attendant to deliver and serve food at scheduled functions under the catering captain. You may drive a catering delivery truck and will set up, serve, and clean the event area, returning leftover food and equipment promptly.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with hours that may vary. Valid driver’s license and food handler’s permit may be required where state law dictates. Competitive pay and benefits listed below.

Qualifications

• Requires catering/events experience and food prep experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; may need a food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the catering captain.
• Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; returns leftovers and equipment to the facility.
• May drive a catering delivery truck and ensure food temperatures are logged and maintained.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards and keeps catering facility and equipment clean.
