Job description

Have Party Will Travel is looking for Part Time Catering Event Lead/Captain to continue our tradition of friendly, professional employees who offer quality customer service. The event Lead, runs the event ensuring that everything goes as the client has planned with our event coordinators. You would be in charge of the other staff at the event, making sure that they are carrying out the jobs that you assigned them.

We offer a flexible schedule. We cannot guarantee hours as some weeks are busier than others. Event times & lengths vary. We are looking for someone that has a flexible schedule. Events can take place weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. As a standard, we are closed on Sunday's, but an occasional Sunday event could occur.

Responsibilities

Event Leads execute events from start to finish; tasks include, but are not limited to packing the van at the warehouse with the items needed for the event, assigning other staff tasks at the event and making sure they follow through, venue set-up, decorating, food and beverage stations, busing tables, following the provided time line, and Clean-up. An important part of the job is on site communication between our lead and the client. Event leads must be professional and knowledgeable.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

3-4 years of catering experience

Food Handlers Permit

Servers spend long periods of time on their feet and must be capable of doing some heavy lifting

Must be willing and able to work fast and manage time well

Needs to like a challenge and be able to tackle challenges head-on

Neat/Clean Appearance

Clean Driving Record and Must have own Transportation

Must have a flexible work schedule

Morning, Afternoon, and Evening Shifts Available
