The herb box in Scottsdale is hiring a reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The role emphasizes washing and sanitizing dishes, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting with food prep in a fast-paced environment.

We offer base pay plus tips and opportunities for advancement. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and meet food safety requirements. Weekend and holiday availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a food handler certification card.
• Previous dishwasher or prep cook experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
• Organize and maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
• Assist in food preparation such as chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and assembling dishes
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures
• Follow recipes and portion control

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
