Job summary

SSA Group in Denver, CO is seeking a Dishwasher to support bustling kitchen operations across our cultural attractions. You will clean and sanitize dishes, assist with maintaining a sanitary workspace, and help manage waste and setup for events.

Reports to Kitchen Manager and Chef Team. The role emphasizes reliability, ability to work standing for long periods, and a willingness to follow safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience in a fast-paced dish pit environment preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety protocols.
• Ability to follow recipes and cleaning schedules.
• Willingness to assist with event setup and teardown as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure proper storage of dishes and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and floors.
• Manage trash and recycling with proper waste separation.
• Maintain sanitary and organized work environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleaning schedules (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Assist during events with setup/teardown of kitchen items.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.

Title: Dishwasher

Reports to: Kitchen Manager(s) and Chef Team

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment, including utensils, pots, and pans ensuring they meet standards for safe food preparation

• Work with kitchen team to ensure dishes and equipment are stored properly

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces

• Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles while ensuring proper waste separation

• Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment

• Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures

• Maintain cleaning schedules to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks are completed

• Some assistance may be needed during events to pull kitchen items for the set up and tear down of events
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary

Job Requirements

• Must be willing and able to work standing for long periods of time.
• Experience with fast-paced dish pit environment preferred.
• Ability to push through dishes and organize area as necessary to the business.
• Experience with MSDS knowledge and upholds active practice of cleanliness in the dish area while maintaining protocol for dish liquid use.
• Responsibly geared towards presenting a clean and welcome experience for guests through upholding sanitation requirements.
