Job summary

Snook Haven in Venice, Florida is seeking a Dishwasher to join the kitchen team. You will clean and sanitize dishes and equipment, help store items properly, and maintain a clean, safe workspace as part of a fast-paced operation.

Reporting to Kitchen Manager(s) and Chef Team, you will support daily cleaning schedules, uphold sanitation protocols, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience at SSA Group's established venue.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work standing for long periods.
• Experience in fast-paced dish pit environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Work with kitchen team to store dishes and equipment properly.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sweeping, mopping, surfaces.
• Empty trash/recycling and ensure proper waste separation.
• Uphold sanitation requirements and company policies.

Title: Dishwasher

Reports to: Kitchen Manager(s) and Chef Team

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment, including utensils, pots, and pans ensuring they meet standards for safe food preparation

Work with kitchen team to ensure dishes and equipment are stored properly

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces

Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles while ensuring proper waste separation

Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment

Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures

Maintain cleaning schedules to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks are completed

Perform other tasks as deemed necessary

Job Requirements

Must be willing and able to work standing for long periods of time.

Experience with fast-paced dish pit environment preferred.

Ability to push through dishes and organize area as necessary to the business.

Experience with MSDS knowledge and upholds active practice of cleanliness in the dish area while maintaining protocol for dish liquid use.

Responsibly geared towards presenting a clean and welcome experience for guests through upholding sanitation requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

• Eligible for overtime pay.

• Holiday pay of 1.5× the regular rate is provided for hours worked on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day .
