Job Summary

The Catering Director oversees all aspects of corporate dining and event catering operations for Amazon, ensuring high-quality service, client satisfaction, and revenue growth. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across multiple sites and requires a strong sales mindset and polished communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all internal and external catering events from planning through execution
• Manage and develop catering staff; hire, train, schedule, and mentor the team
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact
• Oversee menu development, costing, and contract pricing
• Ensure flawless event execution, including food prep, setup, service, and cleanup
• Maintain labor and food cost control in alignment with budget targets
• Drive business growth through marketing and client engagement strategies
• Utilize systems like CaterTrax and manage national account relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts
• 5+ years of hospitality experience, with at least 2 years in catering leadership
• Proven experience managing multi-site catering operations and complex events
• Skilled in menu planning, pricing, staffing, and temporary resource coordination
• Strong understanding of food service standards and sanitation protocols

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, AM shift
• Flexibility for occasional evening events required
