JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for transportation of food and equipment to and from Catering Kitchen and event space. Responsible for the Pulling and set up of functions, break down and equipment care, and assisting staff as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Vehicle maintenance, fueling, upkeep and cleanliness.
2. Pick up food from catering kitchen verifying each item matches BEO, checking for quality, quantity, and temperature. Pack all items for safe and secure transportation.
3. Transport food and equipment for events between storage spaces, kitchen, drop off points, event spaces.
4. Timely Delivery, Setup and Pickup of Catering Setups and services.
5. Return all usable food to the kitchen and store properly.
6. Pull equipment and product for each event at least 2 days prior.
7. Organize and upkeep all storage areas. Maintain par levels on stock items.
8. Pick up equipment, supplies and food at the completion of an event in a timely manner.
9. Ensure all rented items are separated for vendor pick-up.
10. Clean, stock and organize all catering equipment and supplies, including the stockroom.
11. Ensure catering equipment is cleaned and stored properly. If necessary, washing items as needed in dishwasher.
12. Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management, using “clean as you go” techniques.
13. Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.
14. Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
15. Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards. Uses Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
16. Assist fellow team members at every opportunity.
17. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Applicants must possess a valid US driver’s License and be able to drive a cargo van or box truck.
