Associated Students, UCLA is seeking a part-time kitchen assistant for UCLA Restaurants' Commissary and Catering departments. The role involves washing dishes, pots, pans, and equipment, and assisting with food preparation. Training will be provided by culinary staff in a team environment.

The schedule is 10-15 hours per week, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts. Applicants must be able to stand long hours and lift at least 50 pounds; background checks and Live Scan are

Responsabilidades

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other equipment for the Commissary and Catering departments.
• Deep clean the Commissary kitchen regularly.
• Assist in food preparation for the specified departments.
• Hands-on training provided by culinary staff in a team-oriented environment.

10-15 hrs/wk, Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm; Occasionally, Saturday and Sunday

Duties:

Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other various equipment for the Commissary and Catering departments of UCLA Restaurants; Deep cleaning of Commissary kitchen on a regular basis. Also, preparing of food for the mentioned departments. Food experience is a plus, but hands on training by culinary staff on basic cooking skills in team oriented environment is included.

Requirements:

Able to follow specific instructions regarding kitchen. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to lift and carry at least 50lbs. Must work commencement weekend.
