Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant to support kitchen operations, food prep, and catering services. You will work in a fast-paced environment, following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and delivering excellent customer service to students and staff.

Required Education & Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalency required and (1) year of experience in related area
Licenses: Current State of WI Driver's license

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs., carry and push up to 20 lbs., and pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb stairs and a ladder, maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, hear, and speak. The position requires sitting 50% of the time, standing 25% of the time, and walking 25% of the time.
Hours Individuals may work up to 19 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 10AM and 6PM. Shifts are subject to change based on departmental needs.
Salary Salary is listed to the midpoint of the salary range and is determined by years of experience credit and internal salary equity.
