Qualifications

• Experience required: 0–6 months.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and provide excellent guest service.
• Prior hotel and catering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure communications from the sales team are executed at a high level.
• Follow proper food safety programs.
• Assist guests by identifying needs and referring to Catering Manager.
• Handle event bookings from initial contact to completion.
• Produce and distribute contracts and catering paperwork.
• Support post-event written correspondence.
• Attend client site visits, tastings and events to assist with execution.
• Support sales efforts of the department with emphasis on catering.
• Communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and use MS Office tools.
• Maintain safety as a top priority for team, guests, and products.
