Job Title

Location

Schedule

Full Time; Tuesday through Saturday 9:00am–5:00pm with some evenings and Sundays based on business needs.

Pay and Benefits

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine questions about catering events and services.
• Type general correspondence, memos, catering menus and orders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Prepare and distribute weekly BEO packets to departments.
• Maintain event calendars and schedules.
• Serve as client contact for assigned events.
• Assist with event execution as needed.
• Input and maintain reserve data, including inquiries, tentative and definite, and detailed function sheets with equipment needs and rental orders.
• Create captain's packets for each event, including staff sheets, equipment pulls, beverage pulls, signage, expo sheets, etc., and ensure captains receive them.
• Create buffet signage and printed menus as required.
• Assemble and maintain organized event files with correspondence, orders, invoices, payments, proposals, function sheets.
• Intake inquiries with all pertinent event information: client contact, date, time, format, number of guests, location, etc.
• Prepare proposals for events and submit staff requisitions.
• Support sales initiatives through research, marketing interface, communications and sourcing.
• Assist with client walkthroughs of venue spaces and provide on‑site sales representation at events.
• Receive and process all deposits.
• Review reserve financial entry to ensure accurate forecasting and communicate with accounting as needed.
• Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, travel, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining, catering and/or events.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as required.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Marketing preferred.
