Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore is hiring a Catering Coordinator to support events across campus. The role involves cooking, prepping, serving, and sanitation with early shift schedules (6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm) and occasional evening hours. Pay is $22.00 per hour.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum 2 years of catering experience, and culinary experience. Healthcare hospitality is preferred; ability to stand and lift is needed.

• Advanced level of technical experience in food preparation.
• Skilled in cooking and following menus and recipes.
• Guide other catering staff when needed.
• Greet customers with personal service and provide superior customer satisfaction.
• Transport food and equipment to catering functions.
• Answer phones and take requests when needed.
• Make deliveries across campus using various transportation means.
• Schedule and coordinate duties independently on all shifts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• The schedule is based on events, which will occasionally last into the evening hours

Pay Rate:

• $22.00 per hour

• Hospitality experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
