Job summary

Lucky Lab Coffee Co. in Austin, TX seeks a Catering & Logistics Coordinator to own daily catering operations and off-site deliveries from our commissary bakery. You will help source, pack, and ensure on-time departures for catering orders, while supporting opening and closing duties.

The role requires high organization, detail-orientation, and a drive to improve processes. Expect early shifts around 4am, lifting up to 50 lbs, and a team-focused environment that values excellent guest

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in a quick-service environment preferred.
• Be organized and extremely thorough.
• Ability to read and create checklists and spreadsheets.
• Be able to lift/move boxes up to 50lbs.
• Must love dogs, coffee and community.
• Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and participates in day-to-day duties of sourcing, packing and ensuring deliveries leave with the drivers on-time for catering orders
• Assists with the opening and closing duties of the department
• Assists with keeping the team on track with packing, deliveries, stock and prep duties and cleaning the facility
• Assess bakery inventory and utilizes pack sheets to properly organize catering orders
• Ensures that the team provides an extraordinary guest experience at every delivery

The primary role of the Catering & Logistics Coordinator is to ensure smooth daily operations to our catering customers and deliveries to our off-site stores/cafes from our commissary bakery. This is an in-the-weeds with the team role.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates and participates in the day-to-day duties of sourcing, packing and ensuring deliveries leave with the drivers on-time for catering orders
• Assists with the opening and closing duties of the department
• Assists with keeping the team on track with packing, deliveries, stock and prep duties and cleaning the facility
• Assess bakery inventory and utilizes pack sheets to properly organize catering orders
• Ensures that the team provides an extraordinary guest experience at every delivery

• Prior experience in catering preferred
• You are are a morning person - shift times regularly begin at 4am but can sometimes require an earlier start time

What it takes to succeed:

• 4-5 years of experience in a quick-service enviroment preferred
• Be organized and extremely thorough
• Ability to read and create checklists and spreadsheets
• Be able to work in a small space amongst other teams with a high level of productivity
• Be able to lift/move boxes up to 50lbs
• Be incredibly reliable - on time and flexible
• Have a valid driver's licensewith a clean driving record
• Able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions (i.e., sunny, wet and/or humid conditions)
• Must love dogs, coffee and community!
