Job summary

Eurest at Caterpillar Tinaja in Green Valley, AZ is seeking a full-time Catering Captain to lead catering staff and ensure timely service at functions. You will coordinate schedules, supervise setup, and oversee food preparation and delivery under the Catering Director.

Ideal candidates have production cook and catering setup experience, plus a valid driver’s license if required, and the ability to manage onsite operations during events. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have production cook and catering setup experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required where state law requires it.
• Food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure functions are delivered, served and cleared on time.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils.
