Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group in New York is seeking a full-time Catering Captain at Manhattan West (25 East 78th Street, NY 10075). Duties include coordinating catering staff and ensuring timely service; driving may be required to deliver food and beverages to functions. Previous catering experience is preferred.

The schedule runs 6:00 am to 4:00 pm with some variation; pay ranges from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour. Free meals, uniforms, and laundering service are provided at select locations.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely service.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions.
• Drives a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Assists with setting up rooms and clearing functions.
