Job summary

McMenamins Edgefield in Oregon is seeking a Catering Captain to effectively run catered events from setup to teardown, manage service and audio-visuals, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires leadership of catering servers, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; candidates must have current FOH/service experience.

Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain a current OLCC card and Food Handlers Card.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous serving/catering related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and breakdown catered events from small meetings to large groups.
• Input customer bills, set up and run audio-visual equipment, and troubleshoot events.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage customer relations during events.
• Lead catering servers on duty and communicate event details to managers and other departments.
