Job Summary

Summary: Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup of functions. Prepares and serves food at scheduled events under supervision. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determine workload from catering orders.
• Meet with function leaders to discuss setup; handle last-minute changes and resolve issues.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally.
• Understand menu items thoroughly.
• Instruct staff on work expectations for events.
• Assist in setting up rooms as specified.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Return equipment and supplies to the catering facility.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and temperature, following HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and organization of equipment and supplies.
• Follow approved recipes and standards for food prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by law.
