Overview

We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time Catering Captain positions at 17 High Street, Plymouth, NH 03264. Only online applications are accepted.

Schedule: Full‑time and part‑time Tuesdays through Saturdays; hours may vary. Details upon interview.

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour.

Applicants must have prior catering experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine workload requirements from catering orders.
• Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements; address last‑minute changes and resolve problems.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service‑oriented manner.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items.
• Instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions.
• Help staff set up rooms to desired specifications.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Return food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (may be required).
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.
