Eurest is hiring for a Catering Captain in Naperville, IL. This full-time role coordinates catering staff schedules, assists in food preparation, and ensures timely delivery and service at functions. A valid driver’s license and prior catering experience are typically required.

The schedule is Mon-Fri, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with no nights or weekends in this position. The role includes serving guests, maintaining HACCP standards, and driving service excellence while supporting the Catering

Competenze

Previous catering experience required.
A valid driver's license may be required or obtainable where required by state law.
Food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Mansioni

Coordinates workload requirements from catering orders.
Meets with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements and changes.
Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a service-oriented manner.
Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items.
Instructs staff on work expectations for catered functions.
Helps staff set up rooms to desired specifications.
Assembles and delivers food and supplies to scheduled locations.
Serves food and beverages to guests.
Returns food, beverages, equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils.
