Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring immediately for full- and part-time BARTENDER (CATERING) positions at the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago. This role prepares and serves beverages in a friendly, timely manner, contributing to a premium catering experience across events.

Ideal candidates have bartending, events, catering and customer service experience. Fixed pay rate is $27.50 per hour, with full-time benefits and an internal employee referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, events, catering and customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol.
• Sets up assigned bars; stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, glassware and garnishes.
• Maintains stock and prepares garnishes and perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and processes drink orders; mixes and presents drinks using standard recipes.
