Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during the shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event areas during and after events; breaks down setups; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Prepares tables and decorations.
• Arranges buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Clears and cleans the location after events.
• Returns food, equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Maintains catering facilities and equipment.
• Provides friendly, courteous service to guests.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
