Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists in food preparation, sets up cashier location for service, keeps cashier stations clean and organized throughout event, and breaks down and cleans up cashier location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Gather and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
2. Log and maintain food temperatures.
3. Arrange chef tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
4. Ensure that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keep area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
5. Thoroughly clean locations after event is concluded.
6. Return food and beverage, serving equipment and utensils to catering storage locations.
7. Stocks, cleans and maintains catering facility and equipment.
8. Always follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
9. Communicates directly with culinary periodically during the day to ensure all information is up to date.
10. Work with staff from other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
11. Operates a variety of equipment, including coffee machines, soda machines, popcorn and ice cream machines.
12. Maintains clean and safe work environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
