Position Summary

The Catering Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service during catered events. This role involves setting up, serving, and cleaning up after events, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Catering Attendant will work closely with the catering team to deliver a seamless dining experience, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and food stations.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the catering area during and after the event.
  • Monitor food quality and replenish items as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Address guest inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible.
  • Break down and clean up the event space, ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or issues to the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the catering manager.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in catering, food service, or hospitality is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
