Job summary

Compass Group in Superior, WI is seeking on-call Catering Attendant positions at 1605 Catlin Avenue, with events at University of Wisconsin‑Superior. Pay is $16.48 per hour. Training is available, and each shift includes a free meal. This role may involve driving a catering delivery truck.

Duties include assembling and delivering food and supplies, logging temperatures, setting up tables and buffets, serving guests, and ensuring a clean, safe, and hospitable environment during events.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables, decorations, and buffet stations according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly clean location after events.
• Return food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the menu and products on hand.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
