We are hiring immediately for an on call CATERING ATTENDANT position.

• Location: Western University - 309 East Second Street, Pomona, CA 91766. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: On call schedule; open availability is preferred. Days and hours may vary. More information upon interview.

• Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and cleans event area, returns leftover food and equipment in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables, decorations, and buffet setups.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans location after events.
• Returns food, equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Provides friendly, courteous service.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit if required by law.
