Job summary

Delaware North at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY is hiring seasonal Catering Attendants to join our team. You will collaborate with team members to deliver the highest quality experience for our guests.

What you will do includes opening/closing duties, setting tables, serving beverages responsibly, and keeping areas clean while ensuring guest satisfaction. Benefits and weekly pay are part of our offering.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names.
• Available for part-time, on-call events; be of legal age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Perform open, close, and side-work duties including but not limited to preparing room and facility prior to guest arrival, setting tables, clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables, and assisting in the set up of server stations
• Knowledge of portions, containers, major ingredients, and prices for all items
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly
• Observe diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service, stepping in when needed to assist and alerting supervisor of any issues

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Catering Attendants to join our team at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. As a Catering Attendant, you will collaborate with team members to deliver the highest quality experience for our guests.

Pay

$27.73 - $27.73 / hour

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, repetitive motions and ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
• Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 pounds
• Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare bills
