Job Summary

The Server is responsible for serving guests in the venue catering areas. The role requires a personable individual capable of working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The team member must maintain excellent attendance and be available for weekend and evening events as scheduled.

Essential Job Functions

• Set up and maintain buffet stations during catering events.
• Interact with guests, direct them to the buffet, and answer menu questions.
• Maintain proper presentation and sanitation standards in all catering spaces.
• Assist in setting up banquet functions, including linens, dishware, glassware, and silverware.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Effective communication with colleagues, management, volunteers, and guests, fostering a positive work environment.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit as required by law.
• Physical ability to stand, walk during shifts, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform related physical tasks.
• Punctuality and readiness to perform all duties.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Washington State MAST Class 12 Permit and Food Handling Permit.
• Willingness to serve various types of food and alcohol.
