Job Title: Catering Attendant

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CATERING ATTENDANT positions at the Catering @ Case Western Reserve University, located at 1619 Mistletoe Road, Cleveland, OH 44106. Online applications are accepted only.

Requirements: One year of previous experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions, cleans the area during and after events, and returns leftover food and equipment timely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Cleans location post-event.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering equipment and facility.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service at all times.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by law.
