Position Overview

We are hiring immediately for full‑time catering attendant positions at MassMutual, 1295 State Street, Springfield, MA 01111. This is a full‑time schedule with Monday‑through‑Thursday hours that may vary. Pay range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain.
• Carefully assembles, delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables, buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
• Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Thoroughly cleans a location after events and returns equipment and leftover food to the catering facility in a timely manner.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Maintains in‑depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment, follows safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• May drive the catering delivery truck.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law.
• Previous catering and food safety experience is required.
