We are hiring immediately for a full-time CATERING ATTENDANT position.

Location: Fidel - 500 Salem Street, Smithfield, RI 02917. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; days may vary. 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior catering, baking, and front-of-house experience preferred.

Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures all events are executed accurately. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up, serves, cleans, and returns leftover food and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Cleans location after events.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Maintains catering facilities and equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license may be required; must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit as required by law.
