Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures accurate execution of events. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up, serves, cleans, and returns leftover food and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets up buffet tables according to standards.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Cleans location after events.
7. Returns food, equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects comment cards.
9. Maintains catering facilities and equipment.
10. Provides courteous service at all times.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license may be required. Must obtain food handler's and/or alcohol servers' permits as required by law.
