• We are hiring immediately for full-time CATERING ATTENDANT positions.
• Location: Palm Beach State College - 4200 Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, FL 33461. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedules, Monday through Friday, including weekends as needed. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous catering, billing, and customer relations experience are preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures accurate execution of all events. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables, decorations, buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans location after event.
• Returns food, beverages, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Provides friendly, courteous service.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required; must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required.
