Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures accurate execution of all events. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and cleans event areas, and returns leftover food and equipment in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Prepares tables and decorations.
• Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans location after events.
• Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Provides friendly, courteous service.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain or possess a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by law.
