Job Summary

Join our team as a Catering Attendant with Levy at UW - Madison! You’ll play a key role in delivering top-notch food and service to fans, ensuring their experience is nothing short of excellent. This role involves preparing and serving food at high-volume events, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service. Anticipated start date of June 1st.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble and deliver food and supplies to their designated locations for catered events.
2. Monitor and maintain food temperatures to ensure food quality and safety.
3. Replenish food supplies in guest areas to ensure constant availability.
4. Clean up after events, ensuring the venue is tidy and ready for the next event.
5. Return unused food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
6. Stock, clean, and maintain catering facilities and equipment.
7. Provide friendly and courteous service to guests at all times.
8. Keep a thorough knowledge of the event menu to assist guests with any inquiries.
9. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety and sanitation procedures.
10. Perform other duties as needed to ensure successful events.

Qualifications:

1. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a friendly demeanor.
2. Availability to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center for the 2025-2026 season.
3. Willingness to complete ServSafe Alcohol Certification and ServSafe Food Handler Certifications.
4. Previous food preparation and service experience is required.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to lift and move 40-50lbs and stand or walk for long periods.
