We are hiring immediately for part-time CATERING ASSOCIATE positions at Ascension Saint Thomas River Park, 1559 Sparta Highway, McMinnville, TN 37110. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery, and accommodating special requests.

Essential Duties

1. Communicate with nursing and dietetics staff to ensure excellent patient service.
2. Introduce the "Catering to You" program to new patients following scripted methods.
3. Take and offer menu options respecting dietary restrictions, allergies, and cultural preferences.
4. Assemble and retrieve patient trays according to orders.
5. Comply with federal, state, and JCAHO standards.
6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA policies.
7. Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
8. Follow infection control policies.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
