Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Catering Associate to support patient meal service in our hospital environment. You will determine meals based on diet orders, assemble and deliver trays, and communicate with nurses and dietitians to ensure accurate service.

The role includes dish room duties and restocking pantry areas across shifts. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and prior healthcare food service experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to follow diet orders, assist in tray assembly and meal distribution.

Responsibilities

The Catering Associate performs a variety of tasks based on their particular shift assignment; all positions emphasize patient visitation for meal preferences, tray accuracy and meal assembly, meal distribution, dish room responsibilities, and restocking of work areas and hospital unit pantries.
