Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Catering Associate to support patient meal service across shifts. You will interact with patients to confirm diet orders, assemble and distribute trays, and coordinate with dietitians and nurses to ensure accurate meals.

The role includes dish room duties and keeping unit pantries stocked, with additional duties as assigned to maintain efficient food service operations within the hospital.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Infection control policies must be followed.

• Assembles, delivers, and retrieves meal trays.
• Communicates with managers, dietitians, and nurses to meet meal service needs of patients.

The Catering Associate performs a variety of tasks based on their particular shift assignment; all positions emphasize patient visitation for meal preferences, tray accuracy and meal assembly, meal distribution, dish room responsibilities, and restocking of work areas and hospital unit pantries.
