Job Description and Duties

The Catering Assistant assists the Catering Director in the administration of the Chick-fil-A Lansdowne Station Catering Program.

An Ideal Catering Assistant possesses positivity and diligence, effectively executing every catering order with excellence and acting as ambassadors for the Chick-fil-A culture with every interaction. They are mature and people-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills, including the ability to multi-task and think outside the box. Possessing a VALID driver’s license is a MUST!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Oversee all catering transactions to ensure customer expectations are met.
  2. Answer phones, emails, and take new catering orders.
  3. Document and communicate future orders to Kitchen and Front of House Leaders.
  4. Prepare and stage all packaged items for catering orders.
  5. Politely and professionally interact with catering customers in person and on the phone.
  6. Maintain the catering order spreadsheet tracker.
  7. Keep inventory of catering supplies & inform Kitchen Director of supply needs.
  8. Coordinate with the Kitchen Manager on fulfillment of all catering orders.
  9. Follow up with customers to ensure an exemplary experience.
  10. Deliver orders and assist with outside/special events as directed.
  11. Assist with in-store operations (meal fulfillment, stocking, delivering meals to dining guests, cleaning, etc.) when assigned.
  12. Identify and analyze a target market.
  13. Develop and enhance relationships with guests.
  14. Exposure to business connections and networking.

Compensation

This position requires 20-30 hours per week (Saturday availability is a must)!

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour!

Paid Time Off (PTO): 1 week after 6 months of service!
