Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Catering Assistant for the Western Isles site. The role is 19.73 hours per week with a permanent contract, graded Band 2 (£26,696 - £28,988 per annum pro rata) plus a pro rata Distant Islands Allowance (£1,461).

Responsibilities include food preparation, service, counter service, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness. Previous experience is advantageous; good communication and a flexible approach are valued.

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our existing team. Previous experience would be an advantage as the candidate will be working in sections of the department. Duties will include food preparation, food service, counter service and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the department.
