Job summary

The Limes, Langwith, Mansfield, operated by Elysium Healthcare, is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join a calm, supportive kitchen team. You’ll help prepare meals, keep the area clean, and assist with deliveries, working 30 hours per week.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll ensure hygiene standards, assist with dietary planning with dietitians, and serve service users, staff, and visitors. The position offers a pro rata annual salary of £25,565, generous annual leave, development

• Relevant Catering Qualification (Desirable)
• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP
• Experience of working within similar role
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting catering staff with both the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
• Serving service users, staff and visitors with food and beverages
• Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation
• Ensuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly
• As part of the catering team, ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s policies and procedures
• Liaising with the wider team, including dietitians regarding dietary and planned meals

Where you will be working:

Location: The Limes, Main Street, Langwith, Mansfield NG20 9HD

It is a specialist Rehabilitation service for men with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and a history of trauma and/or attachment disorders.
